Course Description

This quarter's topic is metacognition and Cognitive Security (CogSec). The topic is addressed in a 30-60 minute Self-Paced course, and highlights how social media and advertisers try to manipulate our perception and understanding. This course describes ways to protect our cognitive abilities.

Students have 1 day to complete the course. If the course takes longer than 1-day, you can re enroll. There is no quiz or exam. Students must complete the course survey to earn a certificate of completion

This session is online and self-paced (without an instructor).  Participants should use their personal laptop to support knowledge checks, assessments and completing the evaluation process.
